Join the men who serve, lead, protect, and defend.
On February 6, 1882, the Knights of Columbus was founded in New Haven, CT by Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney. The mission was charity in a time when many families were fatherless due to poor working conditions. The young assistant pastor understood the importance of protecting the family. The establishment of the lay Catholic organization provided for a society which is true to the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
Today, the men of the Knights of Columbus still unite in Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. They support those who need them most in the community, working to promote life, and the general welfare of the most vulnerable.
